Erosion control is a big factor at any job site, and resowing of seed during a project results in the loss of valuable labor hours. With the Pro-Crimper mulch crimper, you don't have to worry about water or wind destroying your mulching and seeding efforts.
Working in a Hard to Hold Area?
In those areas that are more likely to wash or erode, such as a hillside or a grassed waterway, you can use the Pro-Crimper to anchor your straw or hay mulch to the ground.
The Pro-Crimper will eliminate the need for asphalt emulsion or other expensive adhesives and insure that your project is less likely to erode.
The Pro-Crimper is available in either 6 foot or 8 foot sizes -- and also is available in a three point hitch version or a pull type. All units have everything you need to take them right to work!
Surveys of home buyers show that they consider a green lot to be significantly more valuable than a brown lot. Further research has proven that mulch will stay in place longer and substantially more seed germination will occur when the covered area is properly crimped.

Description of Machine Operation
The Pro-Crimper is used in conjunction with the Pro-Chopper to help anchor the straw or hay mulch to the ground in areas where wind or water movement of the mulch is a concern.
Ideal depth for punching the mulch into the ground is 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
Purchase Includes
The Pro-Crimper, either the 3 point or pull type, t or 8 foot models come complete. They are equipped with: category one hitch pins (3 point version), tires, wheels, hydraulic cylinder and hoses (pull type version), Slow Moving Vehicle sign and reflectors on the front and rear.
Blade Information
There are 9 blades on a 6 foot Pro-Crimper
There are 12 blades on an 8 foot Pro-Crimper
The spacing between each blade is 8 inches.
Weight
The 6 foot Pro-Crimper has a working weight of 900 pounds.
The 8 foot Pro-Crimper has a working weight of 940 pounds.
The 3 point version shipping weight is 1080 pounds.
The pull type version shipping weight is 1780 pounds.
Time Table
The 3 point unit is ready for use immediately after removal from the shipping pallet.
The pull type unit will have 15 minutes assembly before use after removal from the shipping pallet.
